Night sightseeing at Taj Mahal is considered to be one beautiful sight which bewitches the on looker. It is said that the Taj turns into a silver hue at night and the tourists are allowed to spend half an hour to watch the Taj Mahal glow at the night time. The same can be said for sightseeing the Taj Mahal in broad daylight as one can witness the monument changing its color from light pink at sunrise to golden yellow at sunset. One can spend the entire day watching the Taj transform itself as the day begins and ends.
Photography at Taj Mahal is permitted from the outside but not in the interior of the mausoleum. One can pay up to Rs.25 for a camera and record a video of the complex. Film making and professional video making is not allowed without any prior permit from the Archaeological Survey of India – ASI. The mobile phones are supposed to be switched off once inside the monument’s complex.
